Frimley Lodge Park Consultation

Nicky Heath from Surrey Heath Council came in on 29th November to meet with some of our children to discuss the proposals for a new playground at Frimley Lodge Park.. Emily in year 4 had written to the council much earlier in the year asking for some playground provision.

Nicky has sent us the four proposals for the new playground and says:

“We would very much welcome your parents’ and children’s feedback in respect of which design they would prefer to see in the park.
Please note that the Wicksteed design does not include the Darwin Castle, the Hurricane Swing, the Spin & Bounce and the Pick Up Stick8 as part of the £150k budget.
As discussed, I am putting in an application to the Suez Landfill Trust Fund for £50k for additional all-inclusive equipment to enable children of all abilities to use the play area.”
Please have a look at the proposals with your children. Mrs Willans will be putting up a polling station on Monday so children can give their views and we will send the combined view of Mytchett children to Nicky by 10th December.
