Would you like to get involved in school life? See below for more information on how you can do so.
Family and Friends of Mytchett Primary School
The Family and Friends of Mytchett Primary School is very active and arranges a number of events each term. Offers of help and new ideas are warmly welcomed.
We can be emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please visit our website www.ffmps.co.uk
We look forward to your continued support.
Helping out in School
We warmly welcome any parents/carers/grandparents wishing to help within the school.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for regular helpers (once a week or more) who have unsupervised access to children.
Volunteers who help with single events, for example a school fair, sports day or school trips not involving an overnight stay, and who do not have unsupervised access to children, will not need to have a disclosure undertaken for them.
Please contact the office or your child’s teacher for more details.
Becoming a Governor
For further information on governors and their role, please ask the office.
We invite two representatives from each year to meet each term with Mrs Ibbotson. If you wish to give any feedback or suggestions then please see your class representative. Name and contact details of the representatives have been sent by Parentmail, please see the office if you don’t have this information. Each year also has a Facebook page set up and run by the representatives. This is an informal place to get to know other parents and ask questions (e.g. Did anyone bring home an extra plimsoll in their P.E. Kit? Does everyone remember it’s Class Assembly this week?). Any questions to do with school should still be directed to the School Office.
